Mission
The Sonoma County Museum celebrates and interprets the region’s rich history, art, and culture by exhibiting and collecting relevant objects and artworks, by serving as a vital community gathering place, and by inspiring visitors with dynamic experiences that engage, educate, and enlighten.
The SCM Historic 1910 Post Office building may be rented for receptions, meetings, lectures or private parties. We have a marble and glass lobby with adjacent galleries for standing/ sit down events of up to 120 people; a downstairs room for meetings & lectures for up to 40 people. Catering kitchen available. Some limitations may apply for food or drinks around artwork and historic materials.
